NOTICE is hereby given that the registration of the Auckland Curriers and Beams men’s Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 1389, situated at Auckland, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Wilfred Harold Chudley, of the Public Trust Office, Hastings, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Hastings, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
E. W. Nilsson, 35a Hinau Street, Eastbourne, Wellington, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his fishing-vessel “Alva” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Muritai.
G. Muollo, 210 The Esplanade, Island Bay, Wellington, has applied for a variation of his existing license in respect of the “Princess Iolanda” WN. 449, so as to permit him to operate his 14 ft. vessel (not yet registered), using long lines and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Makara.
A. McDonald, Niagara, Southland, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 20 ft. 4 h.p. vessel “Kiwi II” (not yet registered), using trawl-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Waikawa.
Fish Retailing
F. J. Hobson, 52 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit him to sell wet and cooked fish from premises to be known as the Fendalton Fish Supply, situated at 197 Fendalton Road, Christchurch.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
E. M. Gawne, 93 McCullough Avenue, Mount Roskill, Auckland, has applied for permission to manufacture children’s, maids’, girls’, boys’, and youths’ footwear by the machine-sewn process.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Ebbett Motors, Limited, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at garage premises situated at Rora Street, Te Kuiti.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 24th May, 1945, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES
EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 36, folio 170 (Gisborne Registry), for 4 acres and 20 perches, being Lot 1 on D.P. 1099, and being part of Section 27, Block VIIIA, Waimata Survey District, whereof ANNIE CARNEGIE BAYNE, wife of Valentine Bayne, of Waimata Valley, Labourer, is the registered proprietor, having been lodged with me together with an application to issue a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title after the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Vol. 37, folio 19, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional lease in perpetuity as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
