Secondly, all that parcel of land situated as aforesaid containing
1-8 perches, being that part of Lot 29 on Deposit Plan 1531,
part of Rural Section 326, coloured blue on a plan lodged
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, and
therein numbered S.P. 7564.
Subject to grant of easement (drainage) as contained
in Memorandum of Transfer 94383 in favour of the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land
required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers of
such land is deposited at the offices of the Secretary of the Education
Board of the District of Canterbury, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch,
where it lies open for public inspection daily without fee during all
reasonable hours; and that all persons affected shall, if they have
any objections to the taking of such land set forth in writing such
objection, and send such writing, within forty days from the date
of the first publication of such notice, being the 20th day of January,
1945, addressed to the Secretary, Education Board of the District
of Canterbury, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

THE KAITIEKE FINANCE COMPANY, LIMITED
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of
THE KAITIEKE FINANCE COMPANY, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that there was duly registered with the
Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 21st day of
December, 1944, a copy of the order of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand made at Wellington on the 1st day of December, 1944,
confirming the reduction of the capital of the above company from
£20,000 to £10,000 and the minute approved by the said Court in
connection therewith.
The said minute is as follows:
"The capital of The Kaitieke Finance Company, Limited, hence-
forth is £10,000 divided into 20,000 shares of 10s. each, instead of
the capital now appearing on the register—namely, £20,000 divided
into 20,000 shares of £1 each. At the date of the registration of this
minute there is and shall be deemed to be paid on 16,938 of the said
shares the sum of 10s. each. The remaining 3,062 of the said shares
are unissued, and nothing shall be deemed to be paid up thereon."

OTAGO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
CLINTON EXTENSION LOAN, £12,000
NOTICE is hereby given of the following resolution passed
at a meeting of the Otago Electric-power Board held on
the 19th December, 1944:
"That the Clinton Extension Loan of £12,000 be secured by
a special annual-recurring rate of seven-twentieths of a penny
(7/20d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) of all rateable property in that portion of the County
of Clutha and the Town District of Clinton forming part of the
Otago Electric-power District as defined by Proclamation dated
the 19th day of April, 1939, appearing in the New Zealand Gazette
on the 20th day of April, 1939, which said rate has been permanently
appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing
repayment of the said loan of £12,000 and interest thereon."
I hereby certify that the above motion moved by Mr. J. Cop-
land and seconded by Mr. A. Anderson was agreed to at the above
meeting of this Board.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
