Altering the Boundaries of the Bay of Islands Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Bay of Islands Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area situated in the North Auckland Land District, comprising that portion of the Mangonui County, bounded towards the west, north, and east by the Tasman Sea and towards the south by the Opoe and Rangaumu Survey Districts. As the same is more particularly delineated on Sheet 5 of the plan marked P.W.D. 95221, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon hatched red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1945.

Crown Land set apart as Provisional State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 626 acres, more or less, being part of Section 3215, Block XIII, Ahaura Survey District, and part of Section 2665, Block I, Kopara Survey District, and Crown land (creeks), and described generally as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 3215, Block XIII, Ahaura Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundary of that section for a distance of 3711 links; thence by a right line bearing 116° 00′ for a distance of 10000 links and by a right line bearing 149° 00′ to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Section 2665, Block I, Kopara Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of the Nelson Creek – Kopara Road; thence in a north-westerly direction by the western side of that road to its intersection with a road forming the north-western boundary of Section 3215 aforesaid; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern side of that road to the point of commencement: excluding therefrom Reserves 688, 689, and 1565. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/29, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1945.

Appointing a Member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Harbours Act, 1923, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint William Baillie Laing to be a member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board as a representative of the electors of the counties of Tawera, Paparua, Malvern, Springs, Ellesmere, Halswell, Heathcote, and Selwyn, in the place of Albert Ernest Langdale-Hunt, deceased.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of April, 1945.

Warrant appointing a Qualified Person to be the Representative of the Combined District of the Boroughs of Dannevirke, Woodville, Eketahuna, and Pahiatua on the Manawatu Catchment Board

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section fifty-six of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Charles Forbes, Esquire, of Woodville, Builder, to be the representative on the Manawatu Catchment Board of the Combined District of the Boroughs of Dannevirke, Woodville, Eketahuna, and Pahiatua.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of April, 1945.
