Notice of Intention to take Land in the Borough of Whangarei for Buildings of the General Government
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of buildings of the General Government—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken together with and subject to party-wall rights created by Deed No. 359529 and Transfer No. 245721: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Whangarei and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

0 0 11·3 Lot 6, D.P. 23881, and being portion of Allotment 1 of the Parish of Whangarei.
0 0 0·24 Part of Lot 10, D.P. 16359, and being portion of Allotment 1 of the Parish of Whangarei.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121125, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Excluding Land from the Mahia Development Scheme
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 23rd day of February, 1937, and published in Gazette No. 12 of the 25th day of the same month at page 479, whereby the said land was, inter alia, declared to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, and such land is hereby excluded from the Mahia Development Scheme.

ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District, containing 2 acres, more or less, situate in the Mahanga Survey District, and called or known as Mahanga 1c 4.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Arnold Garry, of the Public Trust Office, Wanganui, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Wanganui, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.
