CORRIGENDUM
In the Gazette of 8th March, 1945, No. 17, page 265, under the
heading of "Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of
the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936," there was included in the list
of persons and firms to whom licenses to take fish for sale had been
declined the name of "H. F. Cantwell, Picton." The Bureau
decision in this applicant's case should have read "granted."

Crown Land set apart for the Wellington - New Plymouth Railway
in Block VI, Ngaere Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the
Wellington - New Plymouth Railway; and I do also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113740, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 12th day of March, 1945.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required
for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
1 rood.
Being Lot 14, D.P. 170, and being part Suburban Section 37,
Woodville.
Situated in the Borough of Woodville (Hawke's Bay R.D.).

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21057, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged
pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 12th day of March, 1945.

Additional Land taken for a Police-station in the Borough of
Whangarei

A PROCLAMATION
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 16 perches.
Being Lot 11 and part Lot 12 on D.P. 1662, being part Allotment 1,
Whangarei Parish (Borough of Whangarei).
Situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District (Auckland R.D.) (S.O. 33335.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120882,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 12th day of March, 1945.
