The Paraparaumu Bread Delivery Notice 1945
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

This notice may be cited as the Paraparaumu Bread Delivery Notice 1945.

This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
THE PARAPARAUMU BREAD DELIVERY SCHEME, 1945
(1) For the purposes of this scheme the “district” means those portions of the Horowhenua and Hutt Counties in the area bounded by the Whareroa Stream at Paraparaumu northwards to a right line due east and due west of Te Horo.
(2) It shall be a condition of this scheme that A. A. H. Spackman, of Denhard Bakeries, Ltd., Wellington, may deliver wholesale supplies of bread to Reid’s Post-office Store and Caldwell’s Store, Paraparaumu, but otherwise the only deliveries of bread in the district shall be on behalf of E. E. Debreceńy, trading as Magnet Bakeries, Paraparaumu.

Taking of Fish for Sale
R. D. W. Pullman, 11 O’Neil Street, Ponsonby, Auckland, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 24 ft. fishing-vessel “Merlin” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Auckland.
L. G. Scott, Commercial Road, Helensville, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 28 ft. 25 h.p. fishing-vessel “Winnie May,” KP. 36, using set-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Helensville.
R. A. Roderique, Hobson Street, Paremata, has applied for a variation of his existing license in respect of the “St. Bartolo,” WN. 341, so as to permit him to operate in its place the 17 ft. 12 h.p. fishing-launch “Rayna” (not yet registered), using trawl-nets, set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at French Pass.
Fish Retailing
S. Beaumont, 31 Aldred Street, Christchurch, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit him to sell cooked fish from premises situated at 20 Victoria Street, to be known as “Sam’s Cafe.”
Sale by Wholesale of Fish
Nelson Fisheries and Cool Storage, Ltd., Fish Wholesalers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, have applied for permission to operate at Palmerston North a wholesale-distributing depot for fish, supplied from the company’s wholesale establishments at Nelson and Picton.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Messrs. E. Cooksley and K. E. Forsythe have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at proposed garage and service-station premises situated at Hinuera.
J. R. and G. Sucich have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit otherwise than through a petrol pump from store premises situated at Waihopo.
Otakeho Cash Stores, Ltd., have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at store premises situated at Piha ma.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 15th March, 1945, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Whangarei, taken on the 17th day of February, 1945, on the proposal of the Whangarei Borough Council to borrow the sum of £3,800 for meeting the costs of purchasing land, machinery, and appliances, and constructing and establishing waterworks for augmenting the supply of pure water for the use of the inhabitants of the borough—

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Raymond William Hope, of the Public Trust Office, Hastings, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Hastings, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.
