I perch, being all the land comprised in Occupation Lease, Vol. 68,
folio 94, whereof ELIAS MARTIN, of Ngakawau, Miner, is the
registered lessee, and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the
said leases, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional
leases as requested after fourteen days from the 22nd day of
February, 1945.

MATAKAOA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of
the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and in the matter of the Public
Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Matakaoa County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work--namely, the acquisition of land
for the purpose of a cemetery-and for the purpose of such public
work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Clerk of the
said Council situated at Te Araroa in the said county, New Zealand,
and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or
by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land, must state their objections in writing, and send same, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County
Clerk at the Council Chambers.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of parcel of land required to be taken : 1 acre
2 roods 0 perches, being part No. 4c, Tokata Block, situate in
Block VIII, Matakaoa Survey District. As the same is shown on
Public Works plan 4312 ; coloured on plan sepia.
