Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 2 roods 25 perches.
Being part Lot 7, D.P. 895, being part Section 33.
Situated in Block XV, Whernside Survey District (Waipapa R.D.). (S.O. 3716.)
In the Marlborough Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110171, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1945.

Land taken for a Native School in Block II, Tokata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Native school ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 3 roods 37·6 perches.
Being part Maraenui Block.
Situated in Block II, Tokata Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4302.)
In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120174, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1945.

Land and a Right-of-way taken for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Lyttelton

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes and that an easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes, vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land for the purpose of access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.
