IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation of Portions of Permanent State Forest, North Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament—that is to say, by the Legislative Council on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and by the House of Representatives on the thirteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four—I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamations of the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, published in the Gazette on the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, at page 587, and the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, published in the Gazette on the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at page 1215, respectively, whereby the said lands (with certain other lands) were set apart as permanent State forests, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson County, containing 2,024 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Waipoua 2B 3D 2B and 2B 3A 2 Blocks, situated in Blocks II, VI, and VII, Waipoua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north-east by Waipoua 2B 3B 1, 2B 3B 2, and 2B 3E Blocks ; towards the south-east by Waipoua 2B 3D 1 and 2A 3B Blocks ; towards the south-west by Waipoua 2B 2A, 2B 2B 6, 2B 2B 5, 2B 2B 4, 2B 2B 3, and 2B 2B 1 Blocks ; and towards the west by the Waipoua River, Waipoua 2B 3A 1 and 2B 3D 2A Blocks, and again by the Waipoua River : save and excepting Waipoua 2O Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 7/33, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1945.
