Additional Land taken for a Police-station in the Borough of Napier

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 34·67 perches. Being part Town Section 550, Napier (Borough of Napier) (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2138, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120785, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of January, 1945.

Land and a Right-of-way taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes in the City of Nelson
[L.S.] C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes and that an easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes, vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass over the said land for the purpose of access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12·2 perches. Being part Section 422, City of Nelson; coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 1·9 perches. Being part Section 422, City of Nelson; coloured yellow. (Nelson R.D.) (S.O. 9375.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120822, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1945.

Land taken for Postmaster’s Residence in the City of Invercargill

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for postmaster’s residence; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood. Being Lot 7, Block II, D.P. 1447, East End Estate, being part Section 8 (City of Invercargill). Situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5619.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120736, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of January, 1945.
