THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land—namely: All those pieces of land situated in the Borough of Mount Eden—Firstly, containing one acre three roods and nine decimal four perches (1 acre 3 roods 9·4 perches), more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 4 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 17351, and being shown on plan deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland under No. 33425, and thereon coloured yellow; and, secondly, containing one rood two decimal two perches (1 rood 2·2 perches), more or less, and being Lot No. 3 on the said plan No. 17351, and shown on the said plan No. 33425, coloured pink.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Balmoral and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District at Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street East, Auckland.

Members’ Voluntary Winding Up
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of DRUG DISTRIBUTORS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of the above company held on the 21st December, 1944, it was resolved, by the passing of a special resolution, that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN HOWARD BARNETT, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator.
Notice is hereby given that the said John Howard Barnett has fixed the 31st day of January, 1945, as the day on or before which creditors of the above-named company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution. Creditors are to send their names and addresses, particulars of their debts and claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to the offices of the liquidator in Featherston Chambers, corner of Brandon and Featherston Streets, Wellington C. 1.

NOTICE is given that the partnership formerly existing between the late Arthur Jubilee Gale and Claude Alfred Evans, trading at Christchurch as Gale and Evans, Clothing-manufacturers, has been dissolved consequent on the death of the said A. J. Gale, and that the business will be carried on by the said Claude Alfred Evans.

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A CEMETERY
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the statutory powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1928, the Balclutha Borough Council proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a cemetery.
Any person objecting to the taking of the said land or to the making of the said cemetery must lodge his or her objection in writing at the office of the Balclutha Borough Council, Clyde Street, Balclutha, within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
A copy of the plan showing the area of land proposed to be taken is deposited at the office of the Balclutha Borough Council, Clyde Street, Balclutha, and may be inspected there at any time during office hours.
SCHEDULE OF LAND
ALL that parcel of land situate in the Town of Balclutha containing nine (9) acres and seventeen (17) poles, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section Twenty-four (24), Block Seventeen (XVII), more particularly shown on plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin as No. 84, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 2, folio 115 (Otago Registry).
