Additional Land at Paekakariki taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Foxton Railway to take further land at Paekakariki in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 31.93 perches.

Part Lot 1, D.P. 10511, being part Section 40, Wainui District.

Situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County. (S.O. 21194.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O 7625, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1944.

Additional Land at Henderson taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Henderson in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:-

0 3 9.2 Part Lot 1, D.P. 19021, being portion of Allotment 2, Waikomiti Parish, and portion of Allotment 7, Waipareira Parish; coloured orange.

0 2 39.2 Part Lot 2, D.P. 19021, being portion of Allotment 2, Waikomiti Parish; coloured blue.

Situated in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, Henderson Town District. (S.O. 33441.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7657, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1944.

Land taken for a Post-office in Block VII, Tengawai Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods.

Being Lots 3 and 22, D.P. 193, being part Rural Section 20810.

Situated in Block VII, Tengawai Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120649, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of December, 1944.
