NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga Constructions Society, Limited, has this day filed an instrument of dissolution under section 15 of the above-mentioned Act; and further notice is given that, unless within three months from the date of publication of this notice proceedings are instituted to set aside such dissolution, the society will be duly dissolved.

ARGO GOLD DREDGING COMPANY, LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders in the above-named company held at the company’s registered office, Bridge Street, Reefton, on Monday, the 14th day of September, 1942, the following special resolutions were passed:—

“(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily;
“(2) That a liquidator be appointed to conduct the winding-up of the company, and that THOMAS HERBERT LEE (jun.), of Reefton, Secretary, be appointed liquidator.”

All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 30th day of November, 1944, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Works Loan, 1944

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of October, 1944:—

“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of eighty-eight thousand pounds (£88,000), to be known as the Wellington City Works Loan, 1944, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing street works and storm-water drainage, the Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-five eight-hundredths of a penny (55/800d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years from the 1st day of December, 1944, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the purposes of a Trust created by Thomas Wilson Kewley for the use of the above-mentioned land as a site for a church, school, and parsonage being impracticable and inexpedient, a scheme under the provisions of the above Act for the disposal of the said land and for the application of the proceeds of the sale of the said land in the erection of church buildings at Wakari has been prepared and has been submitted to.
