Stopping Portion of Government Road in Block IX, Tangitu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Crown Land in Canterbury Land District set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND
SECTION 4, Block XVII, Lowry Peaks Survey District : Area, 2 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purpose of Part I of the said Act.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF GERALDINE

Altering Boundaries of Waimate West and Hawera Counties and including Area in Hawera Riding, Hawera County

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section fourteen of the Counties Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Waimate West County, shall be added to and form part of the Hawera County ; that the boundaries of the Waimate West County and Hawera Counties as so altered shall be those set forth under the respective headings in the Second Schedule hereto ; that the area added as aforesaid to the Hawera County shall be included in the Hawera Riding of the said county ; and that the boundaries of the Hawera Riding as so altered shall be those set forth in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM WAIMATE WEST COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN HAWERA COUNTY
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded by a line commencing on the boundary between Blocks III and IV, Waimate Survey District, at the south-eastern corner of Ngatimanuhiakai 21B 2B Block, and proceeding due south along the aforesaid boundary between Blocks III and IV, Waimate Survey District, to the middle of the Normanby Road ; thence in a westerly direction along the middle of the said Normanby Road to the intersection of the continuation of the middle-line of the public road forming the eastern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 10B Block ; thence northerly along the middle-line of the aforesaid public road to its termination in Ngatimanuhiakai 15A 1 Block ; thence in a north-easterly and northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 15A 1 and 15B Blocks ; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 21B 2B Block to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WAIMATE WEST COUNTY
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-west corner of Section 1, Block XIII, Kaupokonui Survey District, and proceeding in an easterly direction along the north boundary of Sections 1, 8, and 18, Block XIII, Kaupokonui Survey District, Sections 1, 6, 18, and 28, Block XIV, Kaupokonui Survey District, and Sections 35, 27, 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District, to the middle of Palmer Road ; thence southerly along the middle of aforesaid Palmer Road to Skeet Road and by the boundary of the Hawera County herein described to the sea ; thence westerly along the sea-coast to the eastern boundary of Subdivision E of Sections 4, Block III, and Section 2, Block II, Oeo Survey District ; thence north-easterly along this aforesaid boundary to the South Road ; thence north-westerly along the south side of the aforesaid South Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Subdivision B of Section 1, Block II, Oeo Survey District ; thence northerly to and along this aforesaid boundary to the southern boundary of Ngatitamaahuroa No. 1 Block ; thence westerly along this aforesaid boundary to the Oeo Stream ; thence in a general northerly direction up the centre of the aforesaid Oeo Stream to the southern side of Skeet Road ; thence westerly along the southern side of aforesaid Skeet Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 32, Block XIV, Opunake Survey District ; thence northerly to and along this aforesaid boundary and the eastern boundary of Section 34, Block XIV, Opunake Survey District, to the southern boundary of Section 33, Block XIV, Opunake Survey District ; thence easterly along this aforesaid boundary and northerly along the eastern boundary of Sections 33, 32, 31, and 30, Block XIV, Opunake Survey District, to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the Town District of Maniaia.
HAWERA COUNTY
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of Skeet Road and Palmer Road at the south-west corner of Section 11, Block XIV, Kaupokonui Survey District, and proceeding in a generally easterly direction along the southern boundary of the Eltham County, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1926, page 2, to the middle of the Lower Moeawatea Road opposite the south-east corner of Section 3, Block XVI, Omoana Survey District ; thence southerly along the middle of the aforesaid Lower Moeawatea Road to a point opposite the northern boundary of Section 2, Block IV, Opaku Survey District ; thence in a general south-westerly direction by the north-western boundary of the Patea County, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 3207, to the mouth of the Manawapon River ; thence in a general north-westerly direction by the sea to the middle of the Inaha Road ; thence in a northerly direction along the middle of the aforesaid Inaha Road to the middle of the Normanby Road ; thence in a westerly direction along the middle of the aforesaid Normanby Road to the intersection of the continuation of the middle-line of the public road forming the eastern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 10B Block ; thence northerly along the middle-line of the aforesaid public road to its termination in Ngatimanuhiakai 15A 1 Block ; thence in a north-easterly and northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 15A 1 and 15B Blocks ; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundary of Ngatimanuhiakai 21B 2B Block ; thence easterly
