Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
S. Topless, Urenui, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 16 ft. launch (not yet registered), using long lines and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Urenui.
J. E. Finnerty, Oaro, via Kaikoura, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 16 ft. motor-boat “Huia” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Oaro.
L. I. Yorston, care of Post-office, Kaka Point, has applied for a variation of his existing license so as to permit him to operate his 29 ft. 25 h.p. engined launch “Kelvin” (not yet registered), using drag-nets, trawl-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Wilsher Bay.
S. A. Lockie, 72 Fitzgerald Avenue, Linwood, Christchurch, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 16 ft. fishing-boat “Gaynor” (not yet registered), using set-nets and drag-nets, catches to be landed at Lake Ellesmere.
C. G. Churchill, French Farm, Banks Peninsula, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his outboard-motor boat “Spy” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Akaroa, and also for a fish-retailer’s license to enable him to hawk for sale a portion of his catches at French Farm, Barry’s Bay, Duvauuchelles Bay, and Little River.
W. E. Adams, Mangonui, North Auckland, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 28 ft. 14 h.p. engined vessel “Rose O’Day,” MGN. 151, using long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Mangonui.
G. Martin, Mangonui, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 12 ft. outboard-motor boat (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Mangonui.
D. Williams, Russell, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 26 ft. 25 h.p. engined launch “Timmy” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Russell.
W. Cotton, Russell, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 37 ft. 15 h.p. engined launch “Waiomo II” (not yet registered), using drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Russell.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
S. Button and Son, 46 Upper Queen Street, Auckland, have applied for an extension of their existing license to permit them to manufacture sandals by the cemented process.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 21st September, 1944, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
