WITH reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, dated 24th August, 1944, relative to the appointment of a Coroner at Marton, for "Herbert Jeatt Highan", substitute "Herbert Jeatt Higham".

Additional Land at Mangapeehi taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Mangapeehi in addition to the land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 7 acres 1 rood.
Lot 4, D.P. 4103, part Rangitoto-Tuhua 68G No. 2c, Block IX, Mapara Survey District, Waitomo County. (S.O. 8045.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7529, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1944.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway
[L.S.] C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 597, taking and for the purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:-A. R. P. 0 0 25 Part Section 1; coloured green. 1 2 35 Part Section 2; coloured red.
Situated in Block V, Karioi Survey District, Waimarino County. (P.W.D. 25497.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7530, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1944.

Land taken for Hospital Purposes in Block X, Tauranga Survey District, Tauranga County
[L.S.] C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for hospital purposes and shall vest in the Tauranga Hospital Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8 acres 1 rood 7 perches.
Being parts Allotments 30, 31, and 32, Suburbs of Tauranga.
Situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32360.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119817, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of September, 1944.
