Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Otahuhu to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928; and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing thirty and three-tenths (30·3) perches, more or less, being Lot No. 6 (Six) on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 15124, which said parcel of land is part of a block of land situated in the Parish of Manurewa called Fairburns Land Claim 269A, and being all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 351, folio 217.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7493, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this lst day of August, 1944.

Boundaries of Borough of Huntly and County of Raglan altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1944
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-six of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area of land be excluded from the County of Raglan and included in the Borough of Huntly:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make such alteration of the boundaries of the said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Raglan and included in the Borough of Huntly.
SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF RAGLAN AND INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF HUNTLY
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, in the Raglan County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Waikato River, being the northern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 24180, and being the northern corner of Allotment 41B, Pepepe Parish; thence running in a southerly direction generally along the western bank of the said river, to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of part Allotment 38, D.P. 23130, and western side of a public road to the Huntly-Ngaruawahia Road; thence westerly generally along the north side of the said Huntly-Ngaruawahia Road to the south-western corner of Allotment 251, along a right line across that road, to and along the south-eastern boundary of the land taken for the sites for dwellings for employees of the Government Railway Department by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette No. 79 of the 12th November, 1925, page 3160, and being part of Allotments 38, 39, and 40; thence in a northerly direction generally along the western boundary of the land taken as aforesaid, the south-eastern side of the Huntly-Awaroa Railway Reserve, across that reserve along a right line, being the production southward of the western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 31559, along the western boundary of the said Lot 4, being part of Allotment 39, and a right line from its north-western corner to the south-western corner of Lot 3 on the aforesaid D.P. 31559, being part Allotment 40; thence along the western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 3, to and across the Rotowaro Road, along the western boundary of Lot 2 of the said D.P. 31559, being part of Allotments 40, 43A, and 43, along a right line from its north-western corner to and along the western boundary of Lot 1 on the said D.P. 31559, and along the south-western boundary of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 21449, being parts of Allotments 41E and 249; thence eastward generally along the northern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 3 to and across Waahi Road, along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 9141, being part Allotment 41E, and along the north-western boundary generally of Lot 1, D. P. 24180, being part of Allotments 40, 40A, and 41B, to the point of commencement.
All the aforementioned allotments being of Pepepe Parish.
