Land taken for a Cemetery in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a cemetery
and shall vest in the Taradale Town Board as from the date here-
after mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 1 rood
15·8 perches.
Being part Block 27, Puketapu Crown Grant District.
Situated in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2101.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119657, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of July, 1944.

twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto ;
and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto.

coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Railway Land to Road in Blocks IV, V, and VII, Waihua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the East Coast Main Trunk
Railway, and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such
road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said
Board.
