CORRIGENDUM

Wellington, 28th July, 1944.
IN the notice of the result of the general election of certain Rabbit Boards, dated the 10th July, 1944, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 58, 1944, page 886, for "Tauranga-o-moana Rabbit Board" mentioned in the Schedule thereto read "Turanga-o-moana Rabbit Board".
In the notice of appointment of members of certain Rabbit Boards, dated the 25th July, 1944, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, 1944, page 924, for "Gerald Miller" mentioned in the third column of the Schedule thereto read "Gerald Millar", and for "Otara-Wallacetown" mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule read "Otatara-Wallacetown".

Additional Land near Ohura taken for the Purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway to take further land near Ohura in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:-

0 2 8·6 Section 17, Block VI, Ohura Survey District; coloured blue.
0 0 22·2 Part Lot 10, D.P. 4850, being part Mangaroa B 2B Block ; coloured orange.
Situated in Block VI, Ohura Survey District, Ohura County.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7473, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1944.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Street in the Borough of Carterton

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Wellington-Napier Railway, and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Carterton Borough Council in like manner as other streets are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 1 rood 36·9 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 11725, being part Section 207, Taratahi Plain Block.
Situated in Block X, Tiffin Survey District, Carterton Borough.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 2 roods 34·2 perches.
Being part Native-school site in New Zealand Gazette, 1913, page 1921.
