Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Parawai No. 1 Block, Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section one hundred and seventeen of the Native Land Act, 1909:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 rood 15 perches.
Being portion of Parawai No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District. (N.L. plan 8971.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2881A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2929, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of July, 1944.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of July, 1944

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Robert Ernest Blair, John Alexander Harris, Maurice John Foley, William Gilbert Witte, Vallance Bishop Jaggar, Robert Anderson, William Harris, and Stanhope Ernest Long to be the Governor's Bay Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Allandale Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Dominions of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Thomas Bennett, Kenneth Leslie Moore, Robert Walter Holland, Edwin Cyril Johnstone, Robert Aitken McLay, Hugh Alexander Moore, and George Wilson Ross to be the Ruapuna Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Ruapuna Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint James Burke, George Kirkland Pullar, Arthur Macale, Fredrick Cecil Bennet, Robert Leishman McLennan, John Robertson (jun.), and William Scully to be the Kaiwera Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kaiwera Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
KAIWERA DOMAIN.—SOUTH AND LAND DISTRICT ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 40, Block IX, Waikaka Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north and east by Section 19, Block IX aforesaid, 1204.95 links and 944.7 links respectively ; towards the south by Section 39, Block IX aforesaid, 857.7 links ; towards the south-west by a public road, 106.4 links ; towards the north, south-west, and south by other part of Section 40, 250 links, 200 links, and 250 links, respectively ; towards the south-west by the aforesaid public road, 699 links : be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/561B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
