N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF

Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) F. L. G. West, V.D., N.Z. Army Legal Department, relinquishes the temporary rank of Colonel on ceasing to be seconded to the National Service Department. Dated 7th July, 1944.

Temp. Captain C. A. N. Pilcher to be temp. Major whilst holding the appointment of an Area Staff Officer. Dated 13th July, 1944.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 55, dated 29th June, 1944, relative to promotions of temp. Lieutenants to temp. Captains, for “T. J. Thomas”, substitute “R. J. Thomas”.

Temp. Lieutenant A. C. McClelland is granted the acting rank of Captain whilst employed on special duties. Dated 19th June, 1944.

Brendan James McCormack to be temp. 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 12th July, 1944.
