Pursuant to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908,
the following names of officiating ministers within the
meaning of the said Act are published for general information:

Taking of Fish for Sale
F. H. Marshall, P.O. Box 1, Waitakaruru, has applied for a
license to permit him to operate his 30 ft. 40 h.p. engined vessel
"Morerangi" (not yet registered), using set-nets, long lines, hand-
lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Mercury Bay.
P. B. Gleeson, Basil Road, Taradale, and B. W. McEwan,
4 Byron Street, Napier, have applied for licenses to permit them to
operate their fishing-vessel "Venture" (not yet registered), using
set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches
to be landed at Port Ahuriri.
Fish Retailing
B. King, 153 Dee Street, Invercargill, has applied for a fish-
retailer's license to permit him to sell cooked fish from premises in
Upper Tay Street, to be known as "King's Restaurant."
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the
decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make
any desired representations in writing not later than the 1st June,
1944, to G. L. O'Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O.
Box 3025, Wellington.

Taking of Fish for Sale
G. C. Hansen, Purerua, North Auckland, has applied
for a license to permit him to operate his fishing-launch
"O. V. Penguin" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-
nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be
landed at Kerikeri, Bay of Islands.
G. A. Thorrinton, South Titirangi Road, and V. J.
Ibbertson, 1 Arthur Street, Ponsonby, Auckland, have applied
for licenses to permit them to operate their 26 ft. 16 h.p.
engined launch "Lorraine" (not yet registered), using set-
nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be
landed at South Titirangi, Manakau.
F. Hawken, 39 The Strand, Tauranga, has applied for a
license to permit him to operate his 38 ft. 35 h.p. engined
launch "Norma" (not yet registered), using drag-nets,
long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed
at Tauranga.
F. S. Jones, 6 Church Place, Wanganui, has applied for
a license to permit him to operate his 27 ft. 26 h.p. engined
launch "Ideal" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-
nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be
landed at Wanganui.
C. W. McGlone, Manawatu Heads, has applied for a
variation in the conditions of his existing license in respect
of his fishing-boat "Roseann," WN. 321, so as to permit him
to also use the 30 ft. fishing-launch "Enterprise" (not yet
registered), using the same methods of fishing and the same
port of landing.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Marathon Rubber Footwear, Ltd., Christchurch, have
applied for an extension of their existing license so as to
permit the manufacture of sandals, with moulded soles made
of rubber reclaim and leather or fabric tops, by the Veldt-
schoen process.
W. M. Keon, Auckland, has applied for a license to
manufacture men's, women's, and children's clogs.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the
decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications
should make any desired representations in writing not later
than the 25th May, 1944, to G. L. O'Halloran, Secretary,
