Land taken in connection with Street-widening at Cuba Street and Arthur Street, in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street-widening and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 9·25 perches. Being part Section 101, Town of Wellington. Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 21073.) In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118275, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for Street in the City of Wellington

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16 of the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at page 209, taking land for street in the City of Wellington.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE APPROPRIATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 42 acres 3 roods 5 perches. Being R.S. 9583. Situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Christchurch Survey District. In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 24854, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District. (S.O. 21111.) In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119214, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

NEWALL, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing by admeasurement 159 acres 0 roods 27 perches, being Sections 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, 36, and 37 (Hanmer Plains Reserve), Block II, Lyndon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/48, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of February, 1944. C. F.
