A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as road:—

Situated in Block VII, Kaihu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32939.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118751, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of April, 1944.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods 36 perches. Adjoining or passing through Section 14.
Situated in Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32491.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117969, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of April, 1944.

Land and a Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public works, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work subject to certificate under section two hundred and twenty-seven of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, registered in the Land Registry Office at Napier as K 1091, and that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Catherine Jessie Eales, wife of Max Patrick Eales, of Christchurch, Solicitor, under and by virtue of lease under the Hanmer Crown Leases Act, 1928, Volume 457, folio 87, Canterbury Registry, is hereby taken for a public work; and do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
