Price Order No. 205 (Amending Price Order No 142) (Apples and Pears)

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:-

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 205, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 142† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 3rd day of April, 1944.

  3. The First Schedule to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 201‡, is hereby revoked, and the following Schedule substituted therefor:-

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section 17 of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of the provisions of section 20 of the same Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, appointed for a term of three years the persons named in the second column of the following Schedule to be members of the Harbour Boards named in the first column of such Schedule ; these appointments to take effect from the last Wednesday in April, 1944—that is, from the 26th day of that month.
