ERRATUM.—The notice headed “Amended Declaration of Result of Poll for the Electoral District of Southern Maori,” published in the Gazette of the 13th January, 1944, at page 17, is printed as bearing date “6th day of January, 1943.” The notice as executed bears date the “6th day of December, 1943.” The date of execution appearing in the printed notice should therefore be amended accordingly.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118654, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Tinwald Town District, Canterbury Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of January, 1944

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for Road Board offices and buildings :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for municipal purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for Road Board offices and buildings to a reserve for municipal purposes.

Revoking the Reservation over a Reserve in Pirongia Survey District, Auckland Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for public cemetery purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
