Members of Land Sales Court appointed

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1943

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the provisions of sections four, five, and six of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby appoint

The Honourable George Panton Finlay, of Auckland, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand,

to be the Judge of the Land Sales Court established under the said Act ; and with the like advice and consent doth hereby appoint

William Ernest Scott, Esquire, of Kapuni, Farmer ; and William Stewart, Esquire, of Wellington, Retired Valuer-General,

to be members of the Land Sales Court to hold office for a term commencing on the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and expiring on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the provisions of section seventeen of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby appoint the following Land Sales Committees, and doth hereby determine that the quorum at sittings of each of these Committees shall be two :—

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND SALES COMMITTEE

Stephen Ingles Goodall, Esquire, of Auckland, Solicitor (Chairman) ;

Alexander Allardice McLauchlan, Esquire, of Whangarei, Army Officer ; and

Hugh Clifford Fraser, Esquire, of Maungatapere, Farmer.

AUCKLAND URBAN LAND SALES COMMITTEE

William Robert Tuck, Esquire, of Auckland, Solicitor (Chairman) ;

Kenneth Walter Aimer, Esquire, of Auckland, Architect ; and

George Grey Campbell, Esquire, of Auckland, Accountant.
