Land and a Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken, and Crown Land and Portion of Public Reserve set apart for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public works, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work together with the right of way over part Lot 1, D.P. 10225, created in and by Transfer Number 241693, and subject as to part to the rights of way created in and by Transfer Numbers 241694 and 272835 appurtenant to Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 10225, respectively, and that the piece of Crown Land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public work, and that the portion of public reserve described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public work, and that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Alexander Hyslop, of Clydevale, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 138, folio 146, Otago Registry, is hereby taken for a public work; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
