I, RICHARD FROUDE WARD, General Manager of the Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare :—

1. That the liability of the members is limited.
2. That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
3. That the number of shares issued is 20,000.
4. That calls to the amount of five pounds (£5) per share have been made, under which the sum of £100,000 has been received.
5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates on the 1st day of July last is £25,970,993 12s. 2d.
6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates on that day is £25,843,355 10s. 10d.
7. That the amount of balances due to estates under administration on that day is £127,638 1s. 4d.
8. That the liabilities of the company as on the 1st day of July last were £16 12s. 2d.
9. That the assets of the company on that day were £118,696 15s. 1d.
10. That the first annual license was issued on the 10th day of March, 1911.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

NOTICE OF ADDITIONAL CHRISTIAN NAME

I, MARGARET ANNIE BRUNDELL, formerly of Christchurch, Spinster, but now a Charge Sister in the N.Z.A.N.S., 1st New Zealand General Hospital, Middle East Forces, at present on furlough in New Zealand, heretofore called and known by the christian name of Annie, hereby give public notice that I have determined to assume and take from the date hereof and thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use the christian name of Margaret in addition to the christian name of Annie : And I hereby give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the 16th day of September, 1943, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Christchurch, I declared that I shall at all times hereafter use and subscribe on all occasions whatsoever the christian name of Margaret in addition to Annie, and so as to be at all times hereafter called, known, and described by the christian names of Margaret Annie.

And I declare that I had for some years prior to the coming into force on the 4th day of September, 1939, of the Change of Name Emergency Regulations 1939, assumed and used the name of Margaret Annie Brundell and was known by that name at the date of coming into force of the said regulations.

LEVELS COUNTY COUNCIL

SEADOWN WATER-SUPPLY DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Levels County Council has, by special order, appointed Messrs. William Cain, Hugh Patrick Brosnahan, Charles Eustace Kerr, John Bell, and Thomas William Brosnahan managing ratepayers to have on behalf of the Council the management of the Seadown water-races with the following powers, namely :—

(a) They may enter upon any lands and roads in the Seadown Water-supply District through, over, or along which any water-race is constructed and inspect such race :
(b) They may cleanse, repair, and maintain such race where the same is constructed along a road :
(c) They shall, from time to time, report to the Council any case in which the occupier of land in the Seadown Water-supply District through or over which land any water-race is constructed has failed to cleanse, repair, or maintain the water-race passing through his property :
(d) They shall have the control and direction of any water-race ranger or rangers appointed by the Council in connection with the Seadown Water-supply District.
