THE Controller of Man-power doth hereby give notice that the Minister of Industrial Man-power has made the following amendments to declarations of essential undertakings as enumerated hereunder as from the dates indicated :—

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 23rd November, 1943, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, and amendments.

NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH.—TOWN OF NEW PLYMOUTH
PART Sections 565, 590, 591, and 2382 : Area, 2 roods 0.07 perches. Upset annual rent, £8.
Weighted with £235 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising dwelling, paths, trees, shrubs, fencing, &c.
NOTE.—This lease is offered for sale subject to an existing tenancy at £1 per week.
The property is situated fronting Frankley Road, in Town of New Plymouth, about half a mile from the post-office.
Abstract of Terms and Conditions of Lease
- A half-year’s rent at rate offered, and lease and registration fees, £2 2s., to be paid on fall of hammer.
- Term of lease is twenty-one years, with perpetual right of renewal for successive terms of twenty-one years at rents based on fresh valuations under the provisions of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Town Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 4th October, 1943.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to noon on Tuesday, 26th October, 1943.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 27th October, 1943, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND
Kaitieke County.—Owhango Township
SECTION 9, Block V : Area, 2 roods 22 perches. Capital value, £4 ; half-yearly rent, 2s.
Weighted with £6 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising felling, grassing, and stumping.
This section fronts Ohoeka Street in the Township of Owhango, one mile from the Railway-station and a quarter of a mile from Post-office and School. The section has been cleared and grassed, but lies below the road-level and is swampy in front. Soil is of pumice resting on pumiceous formation.

Manawatu County.—Block II, Sandy Survey District
SECTION 72, Town of Tangimoana Extension No. 1 : Area, 1 rood. Capital value, £45 ; half-yearly rent, £1 2s. 6d.
This section is situated in Aru Street, Tangimoana, twenty-seven miles from Palmerston North or Feilding, and fourteen miles from Bulls. All flat land in native grass ; soil of sandy loam on clay and shingle formation. The section is suitable for a summer cottage.
