ERRATUM.—In the Proclamation published in the Gazette of the 2nd September, 1943, at page 1075, taking additional land at Otaki for the purposes of the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway, the title shown after the signature “R. Semple” should read “Minister of Railways” and not “Minister of Works” as printed.

Additional Land at Whitecliffs taken for the Purposes of the Whitecliffs Branch Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Whitecliffs Branch Railway to take further land at Whitecliffs in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block VII, Hororata Survey District, Malvern County. (S.O. 7508.)

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7190, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of August, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kawakawa-Grahmstown Railway to take further land near Towai in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
