Election of Members of the Buller Valley Bobby Calf Pool Committee

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that—

Hartley Valentine Palmer,
Mellor Edward Lewis Goulding,
William Henry Martin (jun.),
James Watson, and
Bernard Benjamin Broad

have been duly elected to be members of the Buller Valley Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

Election of Members of the Karamea-Corbyvale Bobby Calf Pool Committee

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that—

Cecil Rhodes McNabb,
Thomas Arthur Farrell,
William James Lodge,
Rodger Arthur Jennings, and
Lesley Harold Currie

have been duly elected to be members of the Karamea-Corbyvale Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispe Barclay, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 9th day of September, 1943.


SCHEDULE

BULLER VALLEY BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land situated in the Buller County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast at the north-western corner of Section 7, Block VII, Mokihinui Survey District; thence south-east and south-west along the boundary of the Westport Harbour Board Endowment to Buckland Peaks, Block V, Ohika Survey District; thence south along the watershed to Mount Faraday at the south-west corner of Block IV, Brighton Survey District; thence west along the southern boundary of Blocks IV and III, Brighton Survey District, to the Four Mile or Tiropahi Stream; thence in a westerly direction down the Tiropahi Stream to the sea-coast; thence northerly along the coast-line to the original point of commencement.

KARAMEA-CORBYVALE BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land situated in the Buller County, and bounded by a line starting from the south-western corner—namely, the mouth of the Little Wanganui River; thence in a northerly direction along the sea-coast line to the mouth of the Kohaihai River, following up the Kohaihai River in an easterly direction to the Fenian Range; thence in a southerly direction to the Karamea River Gorge and continuing still in a southerly direction along Mount Stormy Range; thence in a straight line to Mount O'Connor; thence in a southerly direction to the Karamea Bluff situated on the Karamea to Westport Main Highway; thence in a westerly direction to the mouth of the Little Wanganui River, being the original point of commencement.
