Additional Land at Otaki taken for the Purposes of the Wellington - New Plymouth Railway

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington - New Plymouth Railway to take further land at Otaki in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods.
Being Lots 28 and 29, D.P. 633, and being part Hanganoaiho No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, Borough of Otaki.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7224, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of August, 1943.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.
