Price Order No. 127, Amendment No. 4 (Main Crop Potatoes)
Pursuant to the powers conferred on it by the Control of
Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal,
acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 127, Amendment
No. 4, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price
Order No. 127† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”). - This Order shall come into force on the 27th day of August,
- (1) Price Order No. 127, Amendment No. 3‡, is hereby
revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said Order shall not affect the liability
of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before
the coming into force of this Order.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This Order applies with respect to all potatoes subject to the
principal Order that are sold by a grower at any time between the
27th day of August, 1943, and the 30th day of November, 1943 (both
days inclusive).
MODIFICATION OF PRINCIPAL ORDER WITH RESPECT TO POTATOES
THAT ARE SUBJECT TO THIS ORDER
- (1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the principal Order the actual price to be charged by any grower for f.a.q.
potatoes and the maximum price to be charged by any such grower
for under-grade potatoes shall be determined in accordance with
the following scale, namely:
(a) For Sutton’s Supreme or King Edward potatoes grown in
the South Island and sold for delivery:-
Actual Price (f.a.q.)
and Maximum Price
(Under-grade).
From 27th August to 30th September, 1943 (both days inclusive) 10 0 0 Per ton f.o.b.s.i. a port in the South Island.
During October and November, 1943 : Pending the issue of an
amending Price Order, and subject to the provisions of any
such Order, the prices as at 30th September, 1943, shall also
apply with respect to potatoes sold for delivery in the months of
October and November§.
(b) For any other variety of potatoes grown in the South Island
and sold for delivery:-

and Maximum Price
(Under-grade).
From 27th August to 30th September, 1943 (both days inclusive) 9 10 0 Per ton f.o.b.s.i. a port in the South Island.
During October and November, 1943 : Pending the issue of an
amending Price Order, and subject to the provisions of any
such Order, the prices as at 30th September, 1943, shall also
apply with respect to potatoes sold for delivery in the months of
October and November§.
(c) For potatoes (other than “tagged” potatoes) grown in the
North Island and sold for delivery:-

and Maximum Price
(Under-grade).
From 27th August to 30th September, 1943 (both days inclusive) 12 0 0 Per ton f.o.r.s.i. the grower’s station.
During October and November, 1943 : Pending the issue of an
amending Price Order, and subject to the provisions of any
such Order, the prices as at 30th September, 1943, shall also
apply with respect to potatoes sold for delivery in the months of
October and November§.
THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
(2) With respect to “tagged” potatoes the prices to be charged
by the grower shall be not less than the prices fixed in accordance
with paragraph (c) of the last preceding subclause, but may exceed
such prices by an amount not exceeding 10s. a ton in any case.

Price Order No. 151 (Patons and Baldwins Wools)
Pursuant to the powers conferred on it by the Control of
Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal,
acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order.
PRELIMINARY
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 151, and shall
come into force on the 30th day of August, 1943. - (1) Price Order No. 133† is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said Order shall not affect the liability
of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before
the coming into force of this Order.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This Order applies with respect to Patons and Baldwins
wools of the kinds specified in the Schedule hereto.
FIXING MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES OF WOOLS TO WHICH THIS
ORDER APPLIES
- The maximum price that may be charged or received by
any retailer for any wools to which this Order applies shall be the
appropriate maximum price fixed in the Schedule hereto.

The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the
Armed Forces, to report
I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purpose of the
above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the
men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with
the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.
