Land proclaimed as Road, and Road closed, in Block XII, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as road :—

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108849, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of August, 1943.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1692, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May of that year, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing 3 roods, more or less, being portion of Reserve 1692 (P.S.F.), situated in Block XIII, Hapuka Survey District; and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the eastern side of Fitzgerald Street, situated at a distance of 45·3 links bearing 148° 15′ and 466·9 links bearing 128° 00′ from the south-western corner of Section 24 in the Town of Arawata; thence by right lines bearing 55° 45′ for 190 links and 128° 00′ to the mean high-water line of the Tasman Sea; thence south-westerly along the mean high-water line of the Tasman Sea to where it intersects the eastern side of Fitzgerald Street; thence north-westerly along the eastern side of that street to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/68, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of August, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1924.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Borough of Whangarei, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, and shown on S.O. plan 32773, being part of Allotment 2, Parish of Whangarei, as shown on D.P. No 27013, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 593, folio 325 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Borough of Ngaruawahia, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32·01 perches, more or less, and shown on S.O. plan 31958, being parts of Allotments 288 to 294 inclusive, and 309 to 313 inclusive, Town of Newcastle, and being part of the land comprised and described in Proclamation 9590 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Also all that area in the Borough of Cambridge, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 4·4 perches, more or less, and shown on S.O. plan 31962, being part Allotment 297, D.P. No. 12096, part Allotment 299, D.P. No. 12097, and parts Lots 2 and 3 on D.P. No. 23544, being parts of Allotments 298 and 300, Town of Cambridge East, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 723, folio 261 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Also all that area in the Borough of Hamilton, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17·6 perches, more or less, and shown on S.O. plan 31950, being parts of Lots 23, 24, and 25 on D.P. 13066, being part Allotment 211, Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 730, folio 224 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

THIRD SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Borough of Patea, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 26·69 perches, more or less, being Section 29 (formerly part Lot 1, D.P. 5713), Block XLVI, Town of Patea. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/4A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 7663.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of August, 1943.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for an electrical substation-site.
