in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Manukau as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 1 rood 1 perch.
Being part Karaka Taupo B No. 1b Block.
Situated in Block VI, Wairoa Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32823.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117368, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of July, 1943.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 7 acres 2 roods 14 perches.
Being part Section 17, Square 12; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
