NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of regulations and orders as under :—

The North Island Electrical Emergency Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943 revoked
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke as from the day of the date hereof the North Island Electrical Emergency Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943.*

The Auckland Sack Repairers Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows :—

This Order may be cited as the Auckland Sack Repairers Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943.

This Order applies to McKendrick Brothers, Limited, Auckland, and to female workers employed by that company in the repair of second-hand sacks when such workers are employed on a night shift as hereinafter prescribed.

The provisions of all Acts and regulations and orders thereunder, and of all awards and industrial agreements under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and of all other voluntary agreements affecting conditions of employment, are hereby suspended in so far as they operate to restrict or prevent the employment of the female workers referred to in paragraph 2 hereof between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on five days of the week, Monday to Friday, both days inclusive, but such suspension shall be subject to the condition that the minimum rate of pay for employment during those hours shall be 2s. 3d. per hour.

This Order shall come into effect on the day of the date hereof.

The Wellington Electric-lamp Makers’ Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows :—

This Order may be cited as the Wellington Electric-lamp Makers’ Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1943.

This Order applies to New Zealand Electric Lamp Manufacturers Limited, Wellington, and to the workers employed by that company in the manufacture of electric lamps.

The provisions of all Acts and regulations and orders thereunder, and of all awards and industrial agreements under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and of all agreements under the Labour Disputes Investigation Act, 1913, and of all voluntary agreements, are hereby suspended in so far as they prevent the workers referred to in clause 2 hereof from being employed during the following hours, namely: From 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon and 12.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; from 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon, from 12.30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on Thursdays; and from 7.30 a.m. to 12 noon and 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Fridays, in each week.

This Order shall come into force on the day of the date hereof.

Additional Land near Maungaturoto taken for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land near Maungaturoto, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections fourteen, thirty-four, and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 103 acres 0 roods 38 perches.
Part Lot 13, D.P. 2845, being part Allotment 147, Parish of Wairau, Block XIII, Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County. (S.O. 32903, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7151, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1943.

Easement taken over Land in Block XIII, Waipu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, as amended by section sixty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1939, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that a water-pipe line easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, maintain, and use a water-pipe line in, under, and over the land aforesaid, with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass over the said land to maintain and repair the said water-pipe line; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 1 rood 36·6 perches.
Being part Lot 13, D.P. 2845, and being part Allotment 147, Parish of Wairau.
Situated in Block XIII, Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County. (S.O. 32903.)
