Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940.

PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to Alex. Cornes, of Hastings.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Amending Declaration of Essential Undertakings (No. 32).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Undertakings (No. 32) by deleting therefrom all the undertakings named therein, and by substituting therefor the following undertakings :—

Golden Bay Cement Co., Ltd.

Milburn Lime and Cement Co., Ltd.

Wilson’s (New Zealand) Portland Cement, Ltd.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 130).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby declare those Rabbit Boards in the South Island which employ rabbiters continuously throughout the year on a “killer” policy to be an essential industry for the purposes of those regulations in respect only of permanently employed rabbiters.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 131).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby declare the perambulator-manufacturing industry, in respect only of perambulator fitters, perambulator upholsteresses, and all workers employed on work that comes within any of the classes of work specified in the Northern, Wellington, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago and Southland Wicker-workers’ award, to be an essential industry for the purposes of those regulations.
