AUCKLAND TRANSPORT BOARD

AUCKLAND TRANSPORT BOARD CONVERSION LOAN, 1934 (No. 2)

NOTICE is hereby given to the holders of all debentures issued
in respect of the above-mentioned loan and falling due after
the 1st day of April, 1944, that, in pursuance of the right of earlier
redemption reserved in such debentures, the Auckland Transport
Board will redeem such debentures on the 3rd day of April, 1944.

Debenture-holders will be paid their principal with interest up
to the 3rd day of April, 1944, free of inland exchange, on
surrendering their debentures and coupons at any branch of the
Bank of New Zealand in New Zealand.

Interest on these debentures will cease after the 3rd day of
April, 1944.

Dated at Auckland, this 21st day of June, 1943.

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE

Drainage and Sewerage Loan, 1943, £8,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Dannevirke Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the Danne-
virke Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of providing drainage and sewerage works and works for the disposal
of sewage in the Borough of Dannevirke, the said Dannevirke
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one
farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the Borough of Dannevirke; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years
or until the loan is fully paid off."
