A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native land described in the Schedule hereto has been completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the North Auckland Land District, Hokianga, Hobson, and Bay of Islands Counties, containing by admeasurement 5,094 acres 0 roods 31 perches, more or less, and described as follows : All that area containing by admeasurement 1,472 acres 0 roods 31 perches, more or less, being Sections 3 and 4, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3,622 acres (approximately), being Sections 17, 18, 19, and 36, Block XVI, Waoku Survey District, Section 14, Block XIII, Punakitere Survey District, Sections 6, 7, 8, and 11, Block IV, Waipoua Survey District, and Section 18, Block I, Tutamoe Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on plans No. 8/33 and 8/34, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plans S.O. 26475 and 32711.)

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough County, containing by admeasurement 1,516 acres 35 perches, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block IX, Onamalutu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 110/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of June, 1943
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section thirty of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on petition in that behalf signed by a majority of the persons qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers’ list for any proposed district, constitute and declare any area of land not less than one thousand acres a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act :
And whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section thirty of the said Act, a petition has been received praying that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act :
And whereas the said petition is signed by a majority of the persons in the said area of land qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers’ list for the said proposed district, and it is deemed expedient to give effect to the prayer of the petitioners accordingly :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby constitute by the specific name of the “Upper Pareora Rabbit District” and declare that area of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a rabbit district under and for the purpose of Part II of the said Act ; and doth
