Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Hokitika, Westland Land District

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1943

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for General Government purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for an addition to a public-school site (Hokitika):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for General Government purposes to a reserve for an addition to a public-school site (Hokitika.)

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Wataroa Survey District, Westland Land District

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1943

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a site for a market over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Rangitikei County Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1943

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve vested in the Rangitikei County Council for a site for a roadman's paddock:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Rangitikei County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Rangitikei County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

All that area in the Rangitikei County containing by admeasurement 6 acres 0 roods 32 perches, being part Section 5, Block V, Ohinewairua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-west and west generally by the Hunterville-Tokaanu Road, distances 239·2, 308·2, 404·7, 122·1, and 496·2 links; towards the north-west by other part of said Section 5, bearing 62° 09' distance 625·6 links, to the western boundary of Motukawa 2B 11B Block; and towards the east by that block a distance of 1165 links to the Hunterville-Tokaanu Road. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 22/2692, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Kohukohu Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve shall become vested in the Kohukohu Town Board, in trust, for recreation purposes.
