Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block III,
Gorge Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further portion
of the line of railway from Palmerston North by way of Manawatu
Gorge to Woodville, Palmerston Gorge Section, and is not now
required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in
the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall
be maintained by the Oruou County Council in like manner as
other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said
Council.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111269, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 14th day of May, 1943.

Land taken for the Use, Convenience, and Enjoyment of a Public
School in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, Hokianga County

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience,
and enjoyment of a public school and shall vest in the Education
Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-three.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre.
Being part Section 67.
Situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 32655.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115946, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of May, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
