A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 2 roods
8 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 20714, being part Kaihu No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block XIII, Kaihu Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 32553.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116537, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 7th day of May, 1943.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto;
and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 1 acre
0 roods 34 perches.
Being part Block 1, Gwawas Crown Grant District, and part Block 66,
Maraekakaho Crown Grant District ; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Road CLOSED
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 roods 24 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Block 1, Gwawas Crown Grant District,
and Block 66, Maraekakaho Crown Grant District, and Lot 1,
D.P. 6848 ; coloured green.
All situated in Block V, Maraekakaho Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D). (S.O. 1890, red.)
All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115737, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing
Amendment Act, 1940, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject
to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation
under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in City of Wellington containing by admeasurement
3 acres 3 roods 26·2 perches, more or less, being part Lot 64 on D.P.
9280, and being part Section 12, Watts Peninsula District : Bounded
towards the west by Strathmore Avenue, 152·25 links and 495·94
links ; towards the north by Kinghorne Street, 30·3 links, 289·81
links, 154·61 links, 230·6 links, and 189·12 links ; towards the east
by Elphinstone Street, 55·81 links, 100·3 links, 250·43 links, and
121·22 links ; and towards the south by other part Lot 64 on D.P.
9280, 289·06 links and 266·02 links : be all the aforesaid admeasure-
ments a little more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 6/6/835, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to
the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I,
Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of
Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in
the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserves
Nos. 1622 and 1667, set apart by Proclamations dated the eleventh
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted
on the fourteenth day of that month, and the twenty-ninth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on
the eighth day of May of that year, respectively, are required for
settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting
hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject
to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing 1,465
acres, more or less, being part Reserve 1622 (provisional State
forest), situated in Blocks V, VI, and X, Kaniere Survey District, and
bounded as follows : Commencing at the south-eastern corner of
Section 2037, Block V, Kaniere Survey District, and proceeding
north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-
eastern boundaries respectively of the said Section 2037 and the
abutment of a road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 3151,
Block V, Kaniere Survey District; thence in a north-easterly
direction along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 3151
and the production of that boundary to the right bank of the Kaniere
River ; thence generally in an easterly direction along the said right
bank of the Kaniere River to a point approximately 5 chains east
of the bridge across the Kaniere River ; thence by a right line
generally in an easterly direction for approximately 10 chains to the
said right bank of the Kaniere River; thence again in an easterly
direction along the said right bank of the Kaniere River to the western
boundary of Reserve 1667 (provisional State forest), as described
in Gazette, 1919, page 1288 ; thence due south along that boundary
to the left bank of the Kaniere River; thence in a westerly direction
along the said left bank of the Kaniere River to a point due north
of the north-western corner of Section 3663, Block VI, Kaniere
Survey District ; thence by a right line due south to the said north-
western corner of Section 3663; thence generally south-westerly,
south-easterly, and north-easterly by the north-western, south-
western, and south-eastern boundaries respectively of the said Section
3663 to its south-eastern corner ; thence by a right line to the
north-eastern corner of Pastoral License 1026 ; thence in a westerly
and southerly direction along the northern and western boundaries
respectively of the said Pastoral License 1026 to the northern side
of Lang Road; thence in a westerly direction along the said northern
side of Lang Road to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Westland Land District containing
8 acres, more or less, being part Reserve 1667 (provisional State
forest), situated in Block VI, Kaniere Survey District, and being
that portion of the bed of the Kaniere River lying between the
western boundary of the said Reserve 1667 and the production of
the north-western boundary of Reserve 1177 (Scenic), Block VI,
Kaniere Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. X/98/105c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 7th day of May, 1943.
