Additional Member of Domain Board appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased, in
pursuance of section 46 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, to increase the total number of members
of the Mackenzie Domain Board from seven to eight, and to appoint

as the additional member thereby rendered necessary.

Portion of Hokianga Consolidation Scheme (Waipoua Subseries)
confirmed.
In the matter of section 161 of the Native Land Act, 1931,
and in the matter of an application to the Native Land
Court to prepare a scheme of consolidation in respect of
Te Ahikawariki and other blocks.
NOTICE is hereby given that a scheme of consolidation (in part)
dealing with subdivisions of the Waipoua and other blocks
within the Tokerau Native Land Court District, being the first and
final instalment of the Waipoua Subseries or Series FF of the Hokianga
Consolidation Scheme, having been prepared by the Native Land
Court in accordance with the above-mentioned Act and submitted
under the seal of the said Court to the Native Minister for his approval,
the Native Minister, being satisfied that the partial scheme so
submitted is just and equitable and is in the public interest, doth
hereby confirm the said partial scheme of consolidation so submitted.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of
certain Grades.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing
Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose
bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered
to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial Grade and Commercial
Grade are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. loose bushel.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st April to 30th
April, 1943:

Authorizing the Laying-off of Roads of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is
inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown
upon the plan of Town of Hornby Extension No. 14 affecting part
Rural Section 1676, Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District,
Canterbury Land District, is intended to be used wholly for resi-
dential purposes, that Wigram Crescent shown thereon should be
of the width of 66 ft. :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon him
by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every
other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands doth
hereby authorize the laying-off of Wigram Crescent of a width of
not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful
for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less
distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
Given under the hand of the Minister of Lands, this 1st day
of April, 1943.

The Kowhai County Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1.
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency
Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby
give notice as follows :—

This notice may be cited as the Kowai County Milk Delivery
Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with
and deemed part of the Kowai County Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942*
(hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”). -
The principal scheme is hereby amended by authorizing
L. F. Harris, Bank Street, Amberley, to deliver milk to residents on
the north bank of the Kowai River from Amberley to the Leithfield
Bridge.

The Whangarei Commodities Delivery Notice 1943.
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency
Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give
notice as follows :—
-
This notice may be cited as the Whangarei Commodities
Delivery Notice 1943. -
This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the
date of publication thereof in the Gazette. -
The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided
for the district described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
THE WHANGAREI COMMODITIES DELIVERY SCHEME 1943.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise
requires,—
“The district” means the area of the Whangarei Borough as
at present constituted :
“Minister” means the Minister of Transport :
“Wholesale purchaser” means a person who purchases
commodities for resale or for transport to an area outside
the district or for consumption at a military camp, hotel,
hospital, or similar institution requiring large supplies
daily :
“Commodities” means bread and meat :
“Milk Scheme” means the Whangarei Milk Delivery Scheme,
1942, published in the Gazette dated the 12th November,
1942, at page 2741.
(2) For the purpose of assisting in the administration of this
scheme, there shall be a committee which shall consist of the following
members :—
(a) The two members appointed for the time being for the
purpose of paragraph (a) of clause (2) of the Milk
Scheme :
(b) One member to be appointed by the vendors of bread in the
district :
(c) One member to be appointed by the vendors of meat in the
district :
(d) The Zoning Officer for the North Island.
(3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee,
the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the
manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and
investigate complaints affecting the administration of the scheme,
to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the
committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its
own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for
amending this scheme.
(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme the com-
mittee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(6) It shall be a condition of this scheme that—
(a) Bread or meat shall be delivered within the district to the
premises of wholesale purchasers only, subject to the
provisions of clause (b) hereafter :
(b) Meat may be delivered in the district by any vendor to any
person, whether or not that person is a wholesale
purchaser for the purposes of the scheme, on such three
days in any week during the months of December,
January, and February in each year, and on such two
days in any week during the months of March to Novem-
ber (inclusive) in each year, as the Minister or a Zoning
Officer shall from time to time appoint in respect of the
scheme.

Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts and appointing Committees
therefor.
PURSUANT to the Transport Control Emergency Regulations
1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby amend as follows
the Schedule to the Warrant constituting Goods Transport Control
Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts and appointing Committees
therefor, dated the 2nd day of September, 1942, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of September, 1942, at
page 2173, as amended by Warrants dated respectively the 25th day
of November, 1942, and the 15th day of February, 1943, and pub-
lished respectively in the New Zealand Gazette on the 26th day
of November, 1942, at page 2811, and the 11th day of March, 1943,
at page 299 :—
(1) Gisborne Taxi-cab Control Committee.—By revoking in the
Gisborne Taxi-cab Control Committee the appointment of J. E.
Richards, and substituting therefor the appointment of H. R.
Richards, Gisborne.
(2) Gore Goods Transport Control Committee.—By revoking in
the Gore Goods Transport Control Committee the appointment
under paragraph (a) of S. B. Taylor, and substituting therefor the
appointment of George Valentine, Gore.
(3) Hawke’s Bay Goods Transport Control Committee.—By
revoking in the Hawke’s Bay Goods Transport Control Committee
the appointments under paragraph (a) of R. Sherwood and K. Stir-
ling, and by substituting therefor respectively the appointments
of P. Lowe, Hastings, and A. H. Sivewright, Havelock North.
