O.B.E., N. Stafford Regiment, is promoted temp. Lieutenant-Colonel and War Substantive Major, dated 28th September, 1942 (Authority, M.E. General Orders, Serial No. 127, dated 30th October, 1942).
Captain M. A. Young, N.Z. Infantry, was, by sentence of a General Court-martial, ordered to take rank and precedence in his Corps and in the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force as if his appointment as Captain bore date of 17th October, 1942, Dated 23rd October, 1942.

CORRIGENDUM.

Grants of Temporary Rank.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 114, dated 23rd December, 1942 (vide List No. 88), under the heading N.Z. Artillery, delete all reference to Lieutenant M. B. Trower, whose temporary promotion is correctly recorded in the New Zealand Gazette No. 96, dated 29th October, 1942 (vide List No. 81).
