Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from H. J. Hunt, 106 Waghorne Street, Port Ahuriri, for a variation in the conditions of his industrial fishing license to enable him to operate the motor launch, “Taupo,” GS. 125, using trawl-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Napier.
Sale by Wholesale of Fish.
An application has been received from H. J. Roderique, Bluff, for a fish wholesaler’s license to enable him to sell fish by wholesale from premises at Bluff.
Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 8th day of April, 1943.

Notice of Adoption under Part IX of the Native Land Act, 1931.

IT is hereby notified that an order of adoption as set out in the Schedule hereunder was made by the Native Land Court at Levin on the 17th day of November, 1942, under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1931.

Notice to make Returns of Land under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923.
RETURNS OF LAND.
EVERY person and company within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and regulations thereunder, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to forward to or deliver at my office, Wellington C. 3, on or before the 9th April, 1943, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 noon on 31st March, 1943, where the total unimproved value, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, exceeds £500.
Any person failing to furnish a return at the prescribed time is liable to a penalty up to £100.
Return forms are available at any post-office.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Newmarket, taken on the 11th day of March, 1943, on the proposal of the Newmarket Borough Council to borrow the sum of £9,000 for the purpose of replacing and cleaning and relining water mains in the borough,—
