NOTICE OF WINDING-UP RESOLUTION.
At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at 18 Martin Place, Sydney, on Tuesday, the 29th day of December, 1942, the following resolution was duly passed as an extraordinary resolution:—
“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up; that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. S. E. NIELSON, Chartered Accountant (Aust.), of Sydney, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”
At such last-mentioned meeting Stanley Egmont Nielson, of 18 Martin Place, Sydney, was appointed liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.

THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land—namely, all that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing 1 acre 3 roods 0·33 perches, more or less, being part of the block of land situated in the Parish of Kaeo, known as Snowdens Grant, in Block III, Kaeo Survey District. A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Kaeo, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

ORDER CONFIRMING REDUCTION OF CAPITAL.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE PARKER-LAMB TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.
Notice is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District (Auckland Registry), dated the 22nd day of February, 1943, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £70,000 to £10,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above Act, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 3rd day of March, 1943.
