The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report.
I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purpose of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Otago Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Friday, 16th April, 1943.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 20th April, 1943, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce documentary evidence of their farming experience and financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Tauranga County.—Parish of Te Papa.—Judea Drainage District.
ALLOTMENTS 129, 130, and 141: Area, 202 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £205. Deposit on deferred payments, £15: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £6 3s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £4 2s.
Weighted with £58 3s. 9d. (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising half-share of 66 chains boundary-fencing, causeway, 2 acres grassing, and shed of wood and iron with concrete floor.
This is an unimproved property situated on Belk's Road eight miles from Tauranga. There are about 63 acres of partly drained swamp, 68 acres of hilly but workable country, 3 acres in grass, and 68 acres waste; the partly drained swamp is in rough food, and there are 136 acres in fern and second growth. When developed, the land should be suitable for dairying with an estimated ultimate carrying-capacity of fifty cows.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 30th March, 1943, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

This is a level building section at Tairua, East Coast, Coromandel Peninsula, forty-six miles from Thames. The section is close to harbour and post-office.
