Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Westerfield Survey District,
Canterbury Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1943

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for plantation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE
CANTEBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 79 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, and being part Rural Section 29225, situated in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Westerfield Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Rural Section 36314, 5337·1 links; towards the north-east by other part Rural Section 29225, 1194·7 links and 324·5 links; towards the south-east by Rural Sections 36438, 36437, 36436, 36435, and 36434, 5321·2 links; and towards the south-west by Rural Section 36313, 1521·8 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2419A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Wellington Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for the preservation of scenery and plantations:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for gravel purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for the preservation of scenery and plantations to a reserve for gravel purposes.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Ashburton Survey District, Canterbury Land District

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for cemetery purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for cemetery purposes.

SCHEDULE
CANTEBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 1775, Block XIII, Ashburton Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by the Main South Railway, 500·0 links; towards the north-east by other part of Reserve 1775, 1512·0 links; towards the south-east by Rural Section 24503, and Lots 22, 21, 20, 19, and 18, D.P. No. 519, 500·0 links; and towards the south-west by Reserve 2283, 1512·0 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/625A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Borough of Ashburton, Canterbury Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a site for Ashburton County Council offices: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for municipal purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for Ashburton County Council offices to a reserve for municipal purposes.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 5·7 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 769, situated in the Borough of Ashburton, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-east by Town Section 228, 88·8 links; towards the south-west by Havelock Street, 40·5 links; and towards the north-west and north-east by other part of Reserve 769, 88·8 links and 40·5 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/685, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
