Land taken for a Public School in the Borough of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, subject to the rights created by transfers registered under numbers 67849 and 67850 (Taranaki Registry), and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Taranaki, subject to the rights hereinbefore referred to as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14 acres 2 roods 10·1 perches.
Being Lots 1 to 11, D.P. 4931, part Section 3, and part Section 3, D.P. 177, Fitzroy District.
Situated in Block V, Paritutu Survey District (Borough of New Plymouth) (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 3012.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117668, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of November, 1943.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for a Public School in the Borough of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 86 of the thirtieth day of the same month, at page 1154, taking land for a public school in the Borough of New Plymouth.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of November, 1943.

WHEREAS the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are reserves duly set apart for public utility purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said lands should be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserves:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the lands described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
Description of Reserves authorized to be exchanged

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve for the purposes of a public park and for the benefit of the public: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

ALL that area in the Waitemata County situated in Block X, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 (portion of a public reserve known as Cornwallis Park), on D.P. No. 31372, being part of Allotment 1, Karangahape Parish, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 767, folio 126 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1114, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR
North Auckland Land District
ALL that area in the Waitemata County situated in Block X, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on D.P.
